VA) Will -20 Apr 1749----14 Nov 1750--named as her son Thomas Cartmell to have the sum of 500 poiunds, paid 12 nomths after her death; named as her son-in-law Thomas CHESTER, to be forgive his bond debt to her, named as her daughter Sarah CHESTER, the sum of 500 pounds, paid 12 months after her death: named by her, grandson Nathaniel Cartmell to have 10 shillings; named her grandson Thomas SMITH to have 3 pounds PA, paid 12 months after her death; named granddaughters: Lydia & Mary SMITH each to have a side saddle; nameds as her granddaughters: Lydia, Mary & Sarah Smith each to have certain named dishes; named as her granddaughters: Mary and SUSANNA CHESTER each to have 1 pound, 10 shillings, paid 12 months after her death; named as her granddaughter Elizabeth Smith all her wearing apparel linen & woolen; named as her grandsons: Thomas and David CHESTER each to have 5 shillings; named grandsons: Joseph, thomas & Wm.
