Services for Lindley "Lynn" Harrell, 77, R. 6, Bedford, who was found dead yesterday of a self-inflicted gunshot wound will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.
The Rev. Richard Kern will officiate at services. Burial will be in Leatherwood Cemetery. Friends may call at anytime at the the funeral home.
Mr. Harrell had been in failing health the past year. He was born November 18, 1894 in Jackson County to Joseph and Rhodema Lindley Harrell. He was a retired mill worker and farmer. He married Beachie Lee Wright on June 30, 1917 in Jackson County, IN and she survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Vinard, Gene, Lawrence, Victor Juan, and Bob Harrell, all of Bedford; two daughters, Mrs. Harry Lee (Rhea Dawn) Thomas, Bedford, and Mrs. Donald (Joan) Imhoff, Ojai, CA; 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Lee Harrell, Brownstown; two sisters, Mrs. Guy Weddell and Mrs. Flossie McMacken, both of Brownstown; and several nieces and nephews. One son preceded him in death. He was a member of the Clear Spring Baptist Church and he attended Englewood Baptist Chursh.
